Fix Missing Sounds or Silent Audio ​

If your clock's sound list is empty or no audio plays, a complete reset followed by a firmware update will fix the issue. The latest firmware includes stability fixes that prevent it from happening again.

Before you start: The reset clears the current time, and the firmware update erases your saved alarm times. Make a note of your alarms so you can set them up again afterward.

Step 1: Set time & date to manual ​

If your clock is set to automatic time & date, it will sync the correct time as soon as it powers back on - and you won't be able to confirm the reset worked. Switch the time & date setting to manual before you unplug the clock.

Step 2: Fully drain the battery ​

The reset only happens when the battery is completely flat. Unplug your clock and leave it unplugged for at least 3 days.

Note: The display will show "Low battery" before the battery is fully drained. This message alone does not mean the battery is flat - you still need to wait the full 3 days.

Step 3: Reconnect power ​

Connect the clock to power. If it doesn't power on by itself, short-press the reboot button next to the USB-C port.

Do not disconnect the power until you have completed the reset & update procedure. Preferably keep it connected for a full day or longer to charge the battery.

Step 4: Confirm the reset worked ​

Check the time on the display:

  • Time shows 00:00 - the battery was fully drained and the reset was successful. Continue to the next step.
  • Time shows the correct time - the battery wasn't fully drained. Unplug the clock and wait another day before trying again.

Step 5: Test the sounds ​

Open any sound list and play a sound to confirm audio is working again.

Step 6: Update the firmware ​

Keep the clock connected to power and update it via Wi-Fi. See our update guide for instructions. This step is important - the update prevents the issue from coming back.

Still not working? ​

If your clock is still silent after completing all the steps, try the full process one more time. If the issue persists, contact support.
