Troubleshooting

Follow the guides below to troubleshoot an issue with your clock.

Issue: No sound

Your clock might not have enough power to play audio. Please connect to a USB power source, and make sure the clock is registering it (the battery icon in upper left corner will disappear when the device switches to mains power).

Try again after the clock has been charging for some time.

Issue: Unresponsive

If your clock is unresponsive or the display is stuck try rebooting the clock. Locate the pinhole reboot button next to the USB-C port on the back and press it once.

This action won't delete any of your settings.

Issue: Clock just displays "habity"

If the display only has the habity logo displayed and no response from the buttons your clock might be in travel lock or out of battery.

In both cases; try to connect the clock to USB power and wait at least 30 minutes, and then try to press and hold the selector button for at least 5 sec.

If you are still experiencing issues after the clock has been connected to power for more than 30 minutes you may try to press the reboot button next to the USB-C port.

Issue: I can see old information on the display

If you can see old information on your clock's display, for example text in a light grey color, it means your epaper display needs to refresh.

This is normal for epaper technology as it moves physical particles up and down to display graphics.

The clock will do a full refresh every 12 hours (03.00 and 15.00), when it switches to idle screen, and when you exit settings.

You can manually refresh the screen by restarting the clock.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi after power outages

If your home Wi-Fi goes down and disconnects from your clock you can trigger a new network search by disconnecting it from USB power temporarily. Once your clock connects back to USB power it will try to look for any known Wi-Fi network and try to reconnect.
